Joan Lao, como director artístico de Indesign Living, ha cuidado la selección y el restyling de las producciones heredadas y las ha agrupado en una colección denominada Since 1969, que recoge lo mejor del diseño de Josep Lluscà, Claire Davies y Jaume Torras. También ha aportado a este lanzamiento cuatro nuevas líneas que completan la sugestiva propuesta que refleja este catálogo; Luz Oculta, de iluminación; Sofá a la Carta, de tapicerías customizables; By Joan Lao, de asientos contemporáneos; y Natural Textures, de alfombras.
Joan Lao, as artistic director of Living Indesign has curated the selection and the restyling of the previous collections, now regrouped as one under the title Since 1969 which brings together the best designs of Josep Lluscà, Claire Davies and Jaume Torras. Moreover, he has contributed four new lines that complete the suggestive proposal this catalog reflects in this launch. They are Hidden Light for lighting, Sofa a la Carta for customizable upholstery, By Joan Lao for contemporary seating, and Natural Textures for floor coverings (rugs and carpets).
Fiel a su propia forma de entender el diseño, Joan Lao ha creado, en su colaboración, una serie de líneas de producto que recogen lo mejor de su larga experiencia buscando, dentro del eclecticismo, la máxima coherencia estilística posible: muebles, asientos tapizados, alfombras y lámparas cuidados al detalle, con el aliento del artesano que mima el acabado de cada pieza, atento al punto de vista de la responsabilidad ecológica con el entorno.
True to his own way of understanding design, Joan Lao has created, in collaboration, a number of product lines with the possibly highest stylistic coherence within eclecticism, that collect the best of his long experience. They include furniture, upholstered seating, floor coverings (rugs and carpets) and carefully detailed lamps with the touch of the craftsman who pampers the finish of each piece, attentive from the point of view of ecological responsibility towards the environment.
